Resources: Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy

Established in 2008, the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy is the first organization of its kind to align the collective resources of the industry around its barriers and opportunities, so that we can offer consumers the dairy products and ingredients they need for a healthy and productive lifestyle. Already the Innovation Center has engaged nearly 400 people and their resources to meet that goal.
 
Through the Innovation Center, the entire industry will work together to address six priorities established by its board of directors comprising a blue-ribbon group of executives and chairs from the nation’s leading producer, processor and manufacturing organizations. The priorities include:
  • Sustainability 
  • Health and Wellness
  • Product Development and Information
  • Regulatory Issues (excludes pricing)
  • Consumer Confidence
  • Globalization
